ISS re-organises

In what it describes as ‘creating a true Pacific region’, ISS Facility Services has restructured so that its New Zealand operation, which had previously reported to the company’s Danish headquarters, now reports to the Australian head office and its CEO Dane Hudson.

That has meant ISS Facility Services’ NZ country manager Brian Young leaving the organisation as well as standing down from his BSC NZ national president position.

‘For some time, ISS has been reviewing how it can provide stronger support to the New Zealand team in line with the growth strategy of New Zealand, at the same time ensure its business remains efficient and nimble in sharing best practice opportunities between two key countries,’ said today’s ISS statement.

‘As a consequence, it has been decided that the New Zealand country manager’s overall responsibilities will shift to the chief executive officer, ISS Australia.  This then creates a true Pacific region.’

The New Zealand senior management team will report through to the relevant executive general manager in ISS Australia. ‘In other words, Gordon Marr will assume responsibility for the New Zealand Cleaning team headed up by Brett Davis.

‘As we farewell Brian, we are confident that these changes to the leadership structure will assist with more operational support and sustained growth for both countries into the future,’ stated ISS.
